Evan Lewis is a professional automotive photographer currently residing in Sarasota, Florida. Educated at the Ringling College of Art & Design, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in photography in 2020.
Evan’s work is deeply influenced by his fascination with the machine world. His photographs often explore the interplay between transportation, mechanical design, and natural beauty. The automobile has always been a subject of fascination for Evan and has become a staple of his photography. Some of Evan’s most notable photographic techniques include the use of long exposures, artificial lighting, and multi-layer post-processing methods that harmonize the vehicle with its environment.
Images in this collection represent years of portfolio development and feature vehicles photographed all over the United States, from the great Rocky Mountains of Colorado, to the desolate shores of the Alaskan backcountry. Not only do these photos portray automotive beauty, but they document the incredible stories that helped Evan capture these once in a lifetime moments.
